There are several Essential oils that can be utilized in an effective shingles pain Remedy. Oils that are very effective at easing pain; oils that reduce the itching; oils that can calm the "angry" blisters that are the signature of the shingles condition.

After recovering from chickenpox, the virus remains dormant and can be reactivated years later by stress or a low immune system. The result is shingles.
Shingles, or Herpes Zoster as it is also called, is a viral disease that attacks the nervous system and "erupts" on the skin of people that have previously suffered from chicken pox.
Shingles take the form of painful, itchy, burning blisters that form at the end of a nerve branch, often on one side of the body. They can also cause headaches, fever and stomach pain.
At this time there is no cure for shingles.
Essential oils can be used in conjunction with anti-viral medications to ease the symptoms and speed the healing process.
Many oils work directly to reduce pain and itching as well as calm the blisters.
For easy application use a spritzer bottle and dilute some essential oil at about 10% with witch hazel or a carrier oil like fractionated coconut oil.

Bergamot Essential Oil is both antiviral and analgesic and works extremely well against the herpes virus. It provides long lasting shingles pain relief as well as a quick drying effect on blisters.

Chamomile Essential Oils are analgesic and anti-inflammatory. They are very good at reducing shingles pain and easing the accompanying itch.
You can choose either German or Roman Chamomile oils for this purpose.

Clove Essential Oil has powerful analgesic, anti-inflammatory and anti-viral properties. It is one of the hot oils so should be diluted prior to applying it on the shingles blisters.

Eucalyptus Radiata Essential Oil is able to provide effective relief from shingles pain.
It can be applied using Epsom Salts in a warm bath or on a cool wet cloth covering the area.
