The symptoms of digestion problems such as constipation, diarrhea, indigestion, nausea and stomach aches can be eased through the use of essential oils.
Even some diseases such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Ulcers, Liver Disease, Hepatitis, Pancreatitis, Diverticulosis, Gallbladder Inflammation, etc. have been known to respond to essential oil treatment.

Bergamot essential oil can be very helpful in promoting a normal digestive function, eliminating flatulence, treating a urinary tract infection, removing intestinal worms and parasites or just stimulating good digestion.

Cajeput Essential Oil can be used against digestion problems in several areas.
Cajeput promotes the secretion of natural digestive enzymes which go to work breaking down your food and absorbing the nutrients which it contains. This action serves to prevent indigestion, cramps, dysentery, as well as diarrhea and abdominal pains.
It works as a carminative to inhibit the formation of pain inducing gas as well as to relieve the flatulence that may already be present in your intestines.
It helps to tone and cleanse the urinary tract and digestive system.
It helps prevent or ease digestive muscle spasms.
Add 10 - 15 drops of oil in a cup of Epsom Salts and take a relaxing aromatic bath.
Blend Cajeput 50:50 with a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut oil and apply it to your lower abdomen or wherever needed to relieve spasms or cramps.
Fractionated coconut oil can be replaced with coconut and aloe if you prefer, for a nice soothing massage.

Add Citronella Essential Oil to an equal amount of a carrier oil such as fractionated coconut and massage your abdomen in order to stimulate digestion and ease abdominal issues including colitis.
