Geranium Essential Oil is used to treat conditions such as acne, insomnia, sore throat as well as more serious illnesses like Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Let's start with some basic information; a brief description of where the oil comes from, what it contains and how it is obtained.
Family: Geraniaceae
Origins: South Africa, as well as Reunion, Madagascar, Egypt and Morocco
Description: Sweet floral scent with a a hint of mint
Extraction: The oil is obtained through steam distillation.
Botanical Part Used: Stems, leaves and flowers
Principal Constituents: The main chemical constituents of geranium oil include eugenol, geranic, citronellol, geraniol, linalool, citronellyl formate, citral, myrtenol, terpineol, methone and sabinene.

After showering, massage the oil diluted with carrier oil like coconut or primrose over the area of concern. The amount of dilution will depend on the sensitivity of the area being treated.
